Fisherman's Blues

Madrid2013

The project is a study center of fishing and aquatic species.

It consists of a main building with equipment and small temporary housing units for fishermen, to be located where the fish species, the users are interested in, live.

A reservoir area is forbidden to transit of vessels outside the fishing complex, for greater protection of the species in the area. The building is thus formed by a series of spaces that serve as a transition to other ones, but which also have a specific function, and other spaces at the ends that are accessed through the first ones.

The building is divided into five major uses: management / research, rest / movement, study / learning, service / storage and meeting. These uses are distributed so that the mid and lower half of the complex are dedicated to study, while the upper part is devoted to research. The temporal housing are divided into a catalog of interior and exterior elements, which are also divided according to use. The interior ones are wet areas, rest, common and special. While the exterior ones are vegetal, common, leisure and energy. These modules can be rented by users according to their needs, allowing the formation of housing groupings that best fit their requirements.
